Enchanted Garden Wedding Decor with Butterflies

For the 2015 Snohomish Wedding Tour we decided to take advantage of the natural setting of the garden for our design and create an enchanted garden with tons of moss, butterflies and some hints of copper accents.  It turned out beautifully!  Special thank you to Laurel's Floral Decor for creating  the gorgeous floral design, Sprinkled in Seattle for event coordination and to Rebecca Ellison Photography for capturing all of the beauty!  We hope this design inspires you in creating your own enchanted wedding!

We took old frames and spray painted them copper and then added some moss in the middle.  Super easy!

As guests enter they see the vintage gift bench with a cute moss covered bird cage for cards.

The vintage buffet makes a great place for guest sign in and escort cards.

Paper Butterflies for guests to write their well wishes for the couple and hang on a cute branch.  The moss covered frame contains an Irish Blessing for the couple.

We have this really long pergola covered walkway and thought how enchanting it would seem to have butterflies suspended from the top all the way down!  As the butterflies danced in the wind it truly felt like being in butterfly heaven as you walked down the pathway.

Adorable copper butterfly at the entrance to the walkway.

These glass tubes and tear drop vases with a small sprig of roses are a super simple and inexpensive way to to add a pop of color and make a dramatic statement.

The ceremony area was striking with all white decor and flowers.

We wanted to create totally elegant and enchanted feel in the reception tent.  Laurel's Floral Decor created this amazing design by hanging a tree branch with a real bird's nest on it draped with flowers.  A live moss runner went down the center of the table which was lavishly covered with floral arrangements.  Copper accents were incorporated in with the chargers and vases.  The Cork Skrew Willows were covered with moss at the base and adorned with butterflies.

Each guest had a custom made favor made out of a tree branch filled with succulents and flowers.  The place cards continued the butterfly theme.

Vintage window frames hung from the tent frame with little paper butterflies adhered to the frames gave the impression of butterflies flowing from the cake.  Cake provided by Stone Layne Baked Specialties.

We created a romantic seating area in the garden.  Perfect for dessert for two!
